And the pot odd are about 2.5:1. its a 2500 pot and he would have to put in another 1000. so 1000 chips to win 2500 is 2.5:1 good odds when you as many outs as A T hearts can give you. another group of odds that are important is how theres only two players. only one person can out draw him instead of 3 donkeys with trash hands that might hit two pair on the flop anlone.

Rico - Drawing an higher pair is a little less than 50% compared to your opponent with the smaller, pocket pair drawing trips. With 2.5:1 odds, that's a good call. |
