if you criticise either player you are a teapot.they play slow and sneaky and draw the appropriate response but in these rare cases it would be a lucky player who chucked.after the flop gus should muck ,but would you?

Not a bad call, why would you fold there? It's almost certain that you'd put Gus on a straight - he's so aggressive that you'd expect him to have bet 50% of the pot on the turn when he got the quads.
